DroneQ Robotics, Offshore Wind Innovation Centre (OWIC), Growind and Topwind will collaborate in research, development and innovation in the field of drone inspections of wind turbines.
In collaboration with DroneQ Robotics and OWIC, Growind makes its turbines available for testing purposes. This enables innovative inspection methods on realistic wind turbines in the operation. This also makes it possible to integrate drone inspection activities into a realistic wind energy operation. Growind and Topwind have an interest in efficient operation as a large part of the turbines are more than 10 years old and operational costs increase.
